- The Service by Design programme is based within Birmingham City University. Both the programme team and the Innovation Mentors are made up of Birmingham City University employees.

- Birmingham City University's Corporate Development Centre offers access to a wide range of University delivered services for small to large organisations across all sectors of the economy. These include training, Continual Professional Development (CPD), KITTS, KTPs and applied research. The Service by Design programme is based in and run by CDC.
